Gigantic Cutaneous Horn: a Clinical Case and a Literature Review

Keratoacanthoma is a benign skin tumour caused mainly by ultraviolet A radiation. It affects 150 out of every 100 000 people worldwide. The most common location the face, neck, and hands. usually middle-aged older men with fair phenotype. More importantly, this disease may be complication cutaneous cornification. described as circumscribed conical prominent hyperkeratotic lesion in literature, main factor provoking Fair phenotype, male sex, age contribute to development horn disease. Another possible keratoacanthoma squamous cell carcinoma, which defined malignant composed epidermal keratinocytes tumour. Squamous carcinoma very similar keratoacanthoma, but prone metastasis has unclear borders. Ultraviolet radiation treatment using chemotherapy are some provocative factors. All three these diseases treated surgically. purpose article discuss etiopathogenesis, clinic, diagnosis, kerato­acanthoma, essential complications – horn, clinical case related diseases.
